Made of ribbed silk velvet, cloak has thick strips of the fabric where they changed the direction of the ribbing– giving the illusion of a color variation, where really it's just the light hitting the texture from a different angle. Fully lined with pinstriped silk, silk arm loops and a sewn in silk drawstring purse pocket on the interior. Thick collar that gives the appearance of a hood. And the best art deco celluloid clasp at the neck! A truly remarkable example of 30s deco fashion
